Before we can start the counseling process we will need to gather some information to help us get to know you and what kind of help you are seeking.
BE READY TO LEARN
What is the Lord trying to teach you in this moment? There is comfort and hope to be found in the truth.
A CONTRITE HEART
Do you have a soft heart towards what the Lord calls you to? Psalm 51:17 “The sacrifices of our God are a broken spirit, a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise.”
COMPLETE HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENTS
Part of the counseling process will require you to do some work on your own. This is a vital part of the counseling process. The homework will help you to spend time with the Lord in prayer and in His word as you develop new habits that will help change your life.
PATIENCE
We often want a quick fix to the trial we are facing. It is going to take some time to get to know you and to apply the truth of God’s Word to your circumstance. Counseling does not guarantee deliverance from a trial, but biblical counsel can provide us with hope in the midst of our trials.
“I waited patiently for the LORD; he inclined to me and heard my cry. He drew me up from the pit of destruction, out of the miry bog, and set my feet upon a rock, making my steps secure.
